New Jersey can’t stop talking about our pizza Napoletana and honestly we can never get tired of being credited for making the best pizza in NJ.

Our customers are the reason why we’re here. From the moment you walk in we’re ready to live up to your expectations of digging into the best pizza in all of New Jersey. No one ever leaves our restaurant hungry, that’s the Rallo family way.

It’s no wonder why everyone in New Jersey is talking about the pizza at Undici’s. Using our new wood burning stove, we slaved over pizza Napoletana recipes for weeks with pizza guru Anthony Mangieri. We didn’t stop until we reached perfection. The result? Well, let’s just say this pizza mission has been accomplished.

Don’t let us bore you with the details. Our customers are much better talkers anyways.

Locals Name Undici’s As Creators of the Best Pizza in NJ

“Undici has become one of my favorite restaurants. I am a total foodie and love to cook, and also love going to many different great restaurants. The atmosphere here is authentic Tuscany. 5 stars for just the atmosphere alone.

I will write about my last visit here. We ate at the bar with another couple (they have a huge beautiful bar that you can hang out and eat at – the hubby and I love to eat at the bar at restaurants). We ordered 2 pizzas: Margherita – bufala mozzarella, Pecorino-Romano, fresh tomato, fresh basil, peperoncini and extra virgin olive oil; and the Arugula e Prosciutto – bufala mozzarella, Pecorino-Romano, grape tomato, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, arugula and Prosciutto di Parma.

Can I just say WOW about their pizza? Yes, it is WOW. The crust is pure perfection, cooked in a brick oven. Has just the right consistency, thin crust, with that great slight charred taste to it. I want to eat every bite of the crust each time! The toppings are all so fresh and absolutely delicious. The margherita pie was pure heaven with it’s fresh toppings and flavors.

On the prosciutto pie, the prosciutto is sliced so thin and so perfectly, it just melts in your mouth. The combination of the prosciutto and the arugula and tomatoes and garlic and olive oil and cheese was magical. I could have eaten that pie all night long!

My husband and I are in a pizza club with 3 other couples, so we know PIZZA! Definitely one of the very best places we have ever eaten pizza! We had gotten the Originale in the past, and that was equally as delicious…just LOVE the flavors of the marinara sauce and the fresh cheese on it.”

“I had the pleasure of eating at Undici’s recently for a get together with friends. We had a great place to sit by the fireplace and thoroughly savored several glasses of the house wine. I was not really interested in eating a full meal but we went ahead and ordered a pizza for a snack. The choice we made was called the Filetti pizza.

I was absolutely blown away by the superb flavor and terrific toppings. The pizza didn’t even have any cheese on it and its one of the best I’ve ever eaten, and I know pizza. I’ve worked in the past for five years as a pizza chef at another Italian restaurant.

The entire pizza was delectable down to the crust, fresh with a hint of zesty spice, and best of all a great smokey flavor from the oven. Undici’s pizza is one of a kind and a must try!”

“It’s hard to find a pizza that has healthy, fresh ingredients, and is delicious too. At Undici, I had the most perfect Marguerita pizza ever.Thin crusted, perfect amount of basil and just enough mozzarella so it wasn’t overbearing. We sat at the bar and enjoyed people watching.”

“Undici is a classy place to relax, talk business or not, and enjoy a meal.

I went to a tweet up at Undici the evening of December 9, 2009. The atmosphere is set with the big hearth fireplace, dim lighting, and lots of space. It’s always a plus to be comfortable and not cramped.

I didn’t have dinner before arriving so I planned to try their…

Pizza -Margherita (bufala mozzarella, Pecorino-Romano, fresh tomato, fresh basil, peperoncini and extra virgin olive oil)
Misticanza salad -hand picked baby greens, Trevisano, gorgonzola, toasted pine nuts, garbanzo beans, balsamic vinaigrette & grilled ciabatta bread.

Both were very good. I enjoyed the salad better than the pizza only because the pizza I chose was a bit too spicy for my taste. Next time I’ll order a more tame pizza.

Nice bar from which I had a delicious merlot. I enjoyed the tweet up as we moved from the bar to the fireplace cocktail tables and chatted. I recommend Undici and will return when I’m in the Red Bank area.”
